You can add and edit images and text, decorations and pages easily on mobile devices. Features not supported on mobile devices are: choosing your cover, organizing the contents, book preview and placing your order.
For best results, upload images in the sRGB color profile and JPG format at 300 pixels/inch. Other formats like PNG, TIFF, GIF etc. can be easily converted to JPG. You can use a basic image editing application to convert your images (e.g. Lightroom, Photoshop, Windows Paint: open the image in Paint and 'Save as' --> choose to save in JPG-format). Many mobile phones save images at 72 pixels/inch, but don't worry, if the image size is sufficient and no low-res warning appears, the printing quality should be good enough.
Sorry to hear that! Here are few things to check: 1. Make sure the Wi-Fi network you are connected to is as fast as possible. 2. Try switching to Chrome as your browser, which currently provides the best user experience. 3. Try selecting fewer images at one time to speed up the uploading process. 4. Check the size of your files. If the images are very large, the editor will take longer to upload them.
When uploading images to our server, they are resized to 3000 x 3600 pixels. If you want to add an image to the full photo page, too much cropping will result in a low resolution. To avoid the resolution warning, you might need to crop your image roughly to a size you think you'll be using in the book before uploading to the book editor. For the same reason, if you upload a horizontal image to a full-page vertical image placeholder, the image resolution might end up too low, in which case it needs to be cropped roughly beforehand to fit the vertical image placeholder.
No, we are proud to offer you printing results that come close to what you see on your calibrated computer screen, but please note that images look a bit brighter on a computer screen, since the computer screen glows. A helpful trick is to lower computer screen brightness aprox. 1/3 when filling your book. We also recommend making your cover image slightly lighter (approx. 10% + brightness).
The price is displayed in the editor's top bar. Starting price is USD 97 / EUR 97 for 52 pages. Extra pages are charged at USD 0.90 / EUR 0.80 each. Extra pages with matte golden printing at USD 1.30 / EUR 1.20 each. The total price will be updated as you add pages.
In Eu countries, VAT 24% is included in the price. For the rest of the world, customs duties and taxes due to customer depend on the country. For instance, US customers are exempt from custom duties when ordering books. Sales tax varies according to the state.
